Sneaking In Extra Fruits and Veggies

Coach Shelby and Shawna shared a few of their favorite healthy hacks in the latest coaching webinar, Day in the Life of a Health Coach.  Their favorite way to sneak in fruits and vegetables?  Smoothies!  They shared two favorite recipes that are not only sweet but nutritious!  If you have a different favorite smoothie recipe, share it in the comments below!  

Something we love about smoothies, you don't have to keep fresh produce on hand!  Save on your grocery bills and purchase frozen fruits and vegetables and put that in your blender!  

Green Smoothie Recipe

1 medium avocado
1 cup packed spinach
1 cup sliced banana
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
1/4 cup cauliflower florets
3 pitted medjool dates
1&1/4 cups unsweetened almond milk or any milk substitute

 

Strawberry Smoothie Recipe

1&1/2 cups whole frozen strawberries
1/2 banana
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 cup 100% orange juice or water
